The TraumaChild simulated a five year old child and is a high fidelity soft tissue simulator designed to train advanced trauma surgical skills. Procedures include Cricothyroidotomy, Percutaneous Tracheostomy, Needle Decompression, Pericardiocentesis, Chest Tube Insertion, Diagnostic Peritoneal Lavage.
The TraumaMan® System is trauma manikin that is anatomically correct and is designed for students to practice several trauma surgical procedures. The System is a simulated human torso with a ventilator and four anatomically correct surgical zones and an ankle base for IV Cutdown. Its flexible design and replaceable tissues allow each student a "first cut" experience and for its incorporation into team trauma training.
Specific character of our technology does not allow the use of mannequins as part of the simulation. That is why we have created PureMedSim Live software simulator, instead of a mannequin, that will be able to simulate such specific processes as breathing, heartbeat, pupil dilation, colour of skin integument, perspiration, speech and others at all possible levels (apart from tactile).
