SIM-one's annual Ontario Simulation Exposition celebrates the creativity, dedication and accomplishments of Ontario’s healthcare simulation community.

The overarching theme of the 2012 SIM Expo was "Simulation and the Quality of Healthcare", which focused on the important role simulation plays in improving healthcare quality, including patient care and patient safety.

Due to popular demand, the 2012 SIM Expo was expanded to a two-day event. Additional features and opportunities of the conference included:

  • A new “Welcome Registration and Reception”
  • Two-day conference that featured networking opportunities, educational activities and engaging speakers
  • New accredited workshops and roundtables
  • Keynote speakers, including Dr. John J. Schaefer, Director of Healthcare Simulation South Carolina, and Dr. Dave Williams, Canadian astronaut and current President and CEO of Southlake Regional Health Centre

The 2013 SIM Expo will take place on December 5-6, 2013 at the InterContinental Toronto Centre Hotel.
