2015 SIM Expo closes the year with huge success
Thu, December 17

The year ended with a bang for SIM-one with the 6th annual SIM Expo, held on December 14 and 15, 2015 at the InterContinetal Toronto Centre hotel. From exhibitors, to workshops, to inspiring speakers and live demonstrations, there was something for everyone in the healthcare simulation community.

“I didn’t know what to expect at the 2015 Expo and was completely blown away. I attended the morning and afternoon workshops led by Cathy Smith – she was amazing and is terrific at what she does. Out in British Columbia we mostly use SPs, and I haven’t come across the software, manikins, and technology until now. The SIM Expo was a terrific learning experience and I’m excited to bring my takeaways from the conference out West,” said Charles Heffernan, Program Director, SIMED Management.

“What an experience! The students and I thoroughly enjoyed the 2015 SIM Expo. Students talked about how great the professionals were to them, and what they saw. They were impressed with the simulation equipment and demonstrations, especially the simulation games. Thank you SIM-one for the patience and kindness you demonstrated today. It was a great pleasure to be here,” commented Holly Nightingale, teacher, Peel District School Board.

On behalf of SIM-one, thank you to all participants of the 2015 SIM Expo. Your support, dedication, and involvement is greatly appreciated. We couldn’t have done it without you.

Stay tuned for the full feature story in the New Year!

We hope you have a safe and happy holiday.

Sincerely,
SIM-one
